Serbia – Belgrade
My destination was Serbia. Not a sexy hotspot nor on my ‘must-visit’ country list but sometimes I make promises on a whim, intending to follow through but at my tortoise-like, almost glacial pace.

I had flown through Vienna on a couple of occasions but never had time to visit the city. But this time was different. I somehow wrangled a return flight from Malaga for a week, for €59 with priority boarding!

Watching the paint dry is more exciting than this place! I booked 5 days in Vienna and had the bright idea of going to Bratislava, Slovakia for 2.5 days.
Luxembourg – Oddly Weird
Luxembourg sits just 250 km away from my German base, an easy 2.5-hour drive. On my most recent trip to Germany, I decided to finally notch this little country off my list and rented a car to drive there.
